Job summary

Simarn Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Lead to support a large-scale S/4HANA Digital Transformation and Implementation program. You will bring hands-on PP/DS expertise, including configuration, solution design, and end-to-end implementation, and lead the PP/DS workstream across Plan-to-Fulfill processes.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with MES/PLM integrations, and the ability to travel to Fremont, CA every two weeks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PP/DS workstream across end-to-end P2F processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Lead to support a large-scale S/4HANA Digital Transformation and Implementation program.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), including configuration, solution design, and end‑to‑end implementation.

This role will lead the PP/DS workstream across Plan-to-Fulfill (P2F) processes and work closely with planning, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and IT teams.

SAP PP/DS experience is mandatory. Candidates must be willing to travel to Fremont, CA every 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PP/DS workstream across end‑to‑end Plan-to-Fulfill (P2F) processes.
• Drive SAP S/4HANA transformation activities across design, configuration, build, testing, UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA PP and PP/DS solutions.
• Define end‑to‑end planning‑to‑execution integration across SAP, MES, and PLM systems.
• Configure and optimize MRP, production planning, detailed scheduling, heuristics, and capacity planning.
• Work extensively with BOMs, routings, production versions, work centers, and production orders.
• Support Variant Configuration and complex manufacturing scenarios.
• Design planning solutions for multi‑stage manufacturing environments and long lead‑time supply chains.
• Integrate PP/DS processes with SAP MM, SD, and QM.
• Support integration between SAP and external MES and PLM systems.
• Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define future‑state processes.
• Coordinate cross‑functional and global teams across planning, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and IT.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, cutover planning, go‑live, and post‑production stabilization.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS – mandatory.
• Strong SAP Production Planning (PP) functional and configuration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Variant Configuration.
• Strong expertise in:

• PP/DS heuristics and scheduling strategies

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience within semiconductor, high‑tech, or complex manufacturing environments is strongly preferred, including:

• Multi‑stage manufacturing flows
• Long lead‑time supply chains
• Fab‑to‑assembly planning
• Engineering change integration between PLM and ERP
• New Product Introduction (NPI)

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior SAP PP/DS professional who has successfully led or played a key role in S/4HANA implementation and transformation programs and can combine hands‑on PP/DS expertise with strong functional leadership.

Important: This is not a production‑support‑only position. Candidates should have strong implementation/transformation experience, and SAP PP/DS experience is required.
