SIMARN Solutions seeks a Sr. SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead to drive end-to-end migration from SAP ECC and other legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration from planning through production cutover.
• Manage data extraction, transformation, cleansing, loading, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
• Develop and validate source-to-target mappings across SAP and non-SAP legacy systems.
• Execute and coordinate multiple mock migration cycles, testing activities, and final production migration.
• Work with key SAP data objects including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material Master, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory data.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, ABAP developers, Basis teams, and project leadership.
• Identify data-quality issues and drive cleansing and remediation activities with business and technical teams.
• Lead migration status tracking, defect management, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
• Mentor migration team members and provide technical/functional guidance throughout the project.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead to lead end-to-end data migration activities from SAP ECC and other legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services/BODS, ETL, SQL, data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities, along with experience leading complex SAP migration workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 9-11+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP data migration expertise.
• Hands‑on experience migrating data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Data Services / BODS.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, SQL, source-to-target mapping, data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with LTMOM, BAPI, IDoc, APIs, and ABAP-based migration approaches.
• Good understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and EWM and their underlying data objects.
• Experience managing mock migrations, cutover planning, production loads, and post-load validation.
• Must have worked on multiple SAP implementation/transformation programs, including at least one complete S/4HANA migration through go-live.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
