Job summary

Addison Group is seeking three experienced SAP Data Migration professionals to support a large-scale greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation. They will work with stakeholders and the implementation partner to define and execute the data migration strategy from legacy systems into S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP data migration/data conversion.
• Strong understanding of SAP/S/4 data structures.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping, transformation, cleansing and validation/reconciliation.
• Ability to work across both technical and functional/business teams.
• Strong communication skills; must be comfortable working directly with business leaders.
• Able to operate independently in a large, complex implementation environment.
• Houston-based preferred or willing/able to travel to Houston frequently.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead data migration and conversion activities for a greenfield S/4HANA implementation.
• Participate in early blueprint/design phase and help define the approach for moving legacy data into the future-state S/4 environment.
• Analyze legacy and S/4 data structures and define source-to-target mappings.
• Partner with functional and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Define/support data cleansing, transformation, mapping and validation requirements.
• Support migration design through mock conversions, testing, reconciliation, cutover and go-live.
• Identify data quality issues and work with business/technical teams toward resolution.
• Work closely with the implementation partner while representing company requirements and interests.
• Communicate technical data concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical/business stakeholders.
• Depending on seniority, independently own a portion of the data migration workstream and drive decisions across teams.

Starting a large-scale greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation and is seeking three experienced SAP Data Migration professionals to support the transformation.

These resources will work alongside company business/IT stakeholders and the implementation partner to help define and execute the data migration/conversion strategy from legacy environments into S/4HANA.

The exact seniority of the positions is still being finalized and may range from senior hands-on Data Migration Consultants/Developers to Data Migration Leads, depending on the final division of responsibilities with the implementation partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Support/lead data migration and conversion activities for a greenfield S/4HANA implementation

Preferred

• 10+ years of SAP/data experience
• Multiple end-to-end SAP implementations
• Experience participating in an S/4 implementation from blueprint/design through go-live
• Previous experience leading a data migration/conversion workstream
• Experience working alongside a major systems integrator/consulting partner
• Utility/energy industry experience
• Functional/domain experience within Finance, Supply Chain and/or EAM
