Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams within complex utility transformations. You will provide functional and delivery leadership from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization.

You will own data-conversion strategy, define waves, ownership, controls, and acceptance criteria, while coordinating cross-functional teams across meter-to-cash processes. Travel 40-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including 3+ years leading a workstream or team.
• Proven ownership of functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment and stabilization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing dependencies and risks with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance business outcomes, solution quality, delivery constraints, and operational readiness.
• Proven ownership of migration strategy, governance, reconciliation, cutover readiness, and business sign-off for complex SAP programs.
• Experience coordinating utility data owners, SAP functional teams, ETL and tooling teams, and program cutover leadership.
• Travel willingness of 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Own data-conversion strategy, scope, governance, delivery plans, and readiness for SAP IS-U programs or releases.
• Define conversion waves, object sequencing, ownership, reconciliation controls, acceptance criteria, and decision gates across utility data domains.
• Lead source-system assessments and data-quality planning with business owners, establishing remediation ownership and resolving migration-readiness gaps.
• Set the functional and technical approach for mapping, transformation, tooling, staging, loads, and mock-conversion cycles.
• Coordinate SAP functional leads, source-system teams, ETL developers, data stewards and cutover leadership across meter-to-cash workstreams.
• Govern mock loads, defect priorities, conversion metrics, control totals, reconciliation, and formal sign-off.
• Own cutover readiness, load sequencing, contingency planning, production execution coordination, and post-load validation.
• Manage team capacity, risks, scope, estimates, and executive decisions while ensuring knowledge transfer and audit-ready evidence.
