Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility questions into accurate reports and analytics. You will own requirements, report definitions, data validation, and testing, partnering with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information for clients across the Utilities value chain.

The role involves delivering reports, dashboards, and operational extracts; guiding test cases, ensuring data quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience in a functional role.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, testing, and stakeholder reviews for SAP IS-U or related systems.
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and SAP IS-U functions, analytics platforms, and downstream applications.
• Ability to translate business questions into precise measures and testable logic.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Travel willingness (40–60%) to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will support reporting and analytics delivery for SAP IS-U and Utilities programs.
• Define trusted measures, support solution delivery, and help clients use operational information effectively.
• Elicit and document reporting requirements across multiple utility processes.
• Translate measures into report specifications, filters, formats, and reconciliation rules.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to ensure correct report logic.
• Collaborate with BW/4HANA, HANA, Datasphere, SAC, ABAP and other teams to implement reports.
• Deliver operational extracts, queries, dashboards, and management information.
• Create test cases, validate totals, and ensure data-quality and access controls.
• Manage deliverables, risks, and client communications; provide knowledge transfer.
