Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into accurate reports and analytics. You will own requirements, report definitions, data validation, and testing, collaborating with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information.

The role may require travel (40-60%) to meet client needs and deliver SAP IS-U and Utilities programs across multiple environments. Location is nationwide in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with at least 3 years in a functional area.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, functional specifications, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review for SAP IS-U or connected utility systems.
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among SAP IS-U functions and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations, customer service, billing, FI-CA, Retail Choice, device and work management, regulatory needs, and management oversight.
• Translate business measures into report specifications, filters, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to confirm report logic reflects definitions and processes.
• Partner with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP, and other teams to design and implement reports.
• Deliver operational extracts, queries, dashboards, and management information across SAP IS-U and connected systems.
• Create test cases and validate totals, samples, access controls, and reconciliation against source transactions.
• Investigate data-quality issues, discrepancies, and cross-system dependencies.
