Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into precise reports and analytics. You will own requirements, report definitions, data validation, and testing, partnering with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information across SAP IS-U and related systems.

You will support reporting for SAP IS-U and Utilities programs, define measures, and ensure solutions align with approved architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience, with at least 3 years in a functional area.
Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, functional specifications, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review for SAP IS-U or connected utility systems.
Understanding meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among SAP IS-U functions and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations, customer service, billing, FI-CA, Retail Choice, device and work management, regulatory needs, and management oversight.
Translate business measures into clear report specifications, definitions, filters, drill-downs, output formats, reconciliation rules, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze SAP IS-U source data and process dependencies to ensure report logic reflects approved definitions and end-to-end utility processes.
Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP, and other teams to design and implement reports and analytics.
Support the delivery of operational extracts, queries, dashboards, exception reports, and management information across SAP IS-U and connected systems.
Create test cases and expected results; validate totals, samples, access controls, and reconciliation against source transactions.
Investigate reporting discrepancies, data-quality issues, and cross-system dependencies with process and technical owners.
Maintain report docs, lineage notes, user guidance, and support materials; assist with UAT, deployment readiness, and production support.
Manage deliverables, dependencies, risks, and priorities; communicate status to client and project stakeholders.
Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to client teams and junior members.
