Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking an inventory & storeroom specialist to receive product items per PO within 24 hours and maintain precise documentation for all valuations, including new, overhaul, and exchange parts.

The role requires accurate processing of pulls, Kanban upkeep in SAP, and proactive shortage alerts to the provisioning team. You will handle labeling, RFPs, and cross-system movements to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product items and process as per PO instructions within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate receiving and cert documentation for all valuations of parts (new, overhaul, exchange).
• Process all part pulls (repair and engine) timely and accurately.
• Maintain the Kanban system within SAP.
• Notify provisioning team of potential part shortages.
• Process all window parts requests professionally and proficiently.
• Process bench stock refill requests within 24 hours.
• Label all parts issued and stored according to ASP 411.
• Create storeroom sales orders and route through CRB as required.
• Scan PWC certs into Fastindex and verify audit trails.
• Perform annual cycle counts of all stocked inventory and correct as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels and issuing of parts to CS orders from balance and test cell tackle boxes.
• Provide copies of certs to quality.
• Perform parts movements (RTS, re-issue, spacer movements, plant-to-plant transfers).
• Receive and issue non-product items in SAP when required, and data entry of non-product slips.
• Receive and issue Bruckner items; liaise with Bruckner to ensure prompt delivery.
• Receive and issue Spot Buys in Bruckner; liaise with vendor for prompt delivery.
• Create RFPs for maintained non-product stock and ensure items are ordered and received.
• Return incorrect or damaged stock and create required shipping paperwork.
• Label Loctite, sealants, and lubes with PO number, expiry, and received date; obtain certificates of analysis or compliance per ASP.
• Monitor shelf-life inventory for expiration dates and dispose of expired stock.
• Maintain stock in all Repair Line Kanban cabinets.
• Follow safety rules and Code of Ethics, report violations, data integrity, and environmental protection.
• Perform other storeroom duties as required.
