Job summary

Aquatech International LLC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Finance SAP FI/CO Lead to own design, configuration, and ongoing support across GL, AP, AR, and related modules. You will guide ERP assessments, data conversion, testing, and hypercare while driving standardization and automation across finance processes.

You will lead transformation initiatives, align with leadership, and oversee change management and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IS.
7+ years in accounting/finance with SAP FI/CO experience (5+ years hands-on).
3+ years leading SAP/ERP finance projects with FI/CO ownership.
CPA, CMA, PMP or SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA certs preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of GL, close, reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting.

Responsibilities

Serve as the finance functional lead for the SAP ECC environment across GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, cost center, and PS.
Represent Finance in ERP assessment, requirements, design, data conversion, testing, and hypercare.
Manage finance system implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
Lead transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability.
Partner with Finance leadership to simplify and automate processes.
Lead month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and procure-to-pay processes.
Evaluate gaps between current practices and ERP capabilities, propose scalable solutions.
Own change management and training for new finance processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adoption.
Establish governance, track risks, and align enhancements with business objectives.
