Job summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP Finance Lead for our client in Atlanta, GA on a contract-to-hire basis. You will lead SAP ECC Finance (FI/CO) configuration, support, and optimization, partnering with Finance stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements and system stability.

The role requires extensive SAP ECC Finance experience, expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and strong leadership in incident resolution, testing, deployments, and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ECC Finance (FI/CO) configuration and support.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Proven experience supporting and maintaining SAP environments in production and AMS settings.
• Experience with SAP integrations, including MM, SD, and external applications.
• Working knowledge of ABAP, IDocs, APIs, middleware technologies, payment files, and banking interfaces.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
• Experience managing incident resolution, testing, deployments, and system enhancements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, support, and optimization of SAP ECC Finance (FI/CO) modules.
• Provide expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Support end-to-end financial processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), reconciliations, and financial close activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage integrations between SAP Finance, MM, SD, and external systems.
• Coordinate and oversee system enhancements, testing activities, deployments, and change management initiatives.
• Work closely with technical teams on ABAP developments, interfaces, APIs, IDocs, middleware integrations, payment processing, and banking solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to onsite and offshore support teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.

This position requires a highly experienced SAP Finance professional to lead the support, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of SAP ECC Finance applications within a complex enterprise environment.
