Job summary

NTT DATA Business Solutions is seeking a SAP Enterprise Architect to design holistic SAP solutions, collaborating with client teams to balance scope, risk, and timelines. The role emphasizes presales support, multi-project delivery, and ongoing guidance to clients, combining strong SAP product knowledge with business strategy to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study.
• 10 years of SAP project implementation experience across multiple modules and industries.
• Minimum 6 years of integration experience with other process areas.
• Minimum 6 years of leadership experience on SAP implementation/support projects.
• Experience configuring multiple SAP modules and experience across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Support Services Sales/Presales by conducting discovery sessions and shaping scope and roadmap.
• Assist project delivery with managing expectations and documenting results across multiple parallel projects.
• Provide quality control for delivery projects and mitigate risks through proactive escalation management.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, explaining complex SAP solutions clearly.

SAP Enterprise Architect

The SAP Enterprise Architect is responsible for utilizing NTT DATA Business Solutions’ broad understanding of SAP functionality and the cross-functional and technical integration aspects, the Enterprise Architect will collaborate with the NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. and customer project resources to find the best holistic solution for the customer and project. The Enterprise Architect has knowledge of and access to all available NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. resources and will utilize the resources to bring the right skillset to the project. This position works closely with the project manager, engagement director and consultants to design and evaluate feasibility of proposed solutions in the context of project budget, risk and time line. The Enterprise Architect also participates in functional QA reviews of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Services Sales/Presales support

• 1st call credibility
• Support of sales/presales team
• Conduct discovery sessions
• Support of proposal creation by defining and describing scope and assumptions
• Design of solution roadmap together with the presales team
• of follow up business through existing client relationships

B. Project delivery support

• Ability to manage expectations with the project team and client
• Flexibility to support multiple parallel projects
• Understanding of the importance of follow up and documentation of results
• Trusted advisor to the project team (NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. and customer)
• Support project manager and engagement director in managing customer expectation
• Credibility towards the client is based on business and SAP product knowledge. Use this credibility to advise client and provide guidance towards the best holistic project solution
• Ability to explain abstract and complex solutions in a way that the customer understands
• Ability to deliver difficult information at all organizational levels and determine appropriate courses of action.

C. Quality control for delivery projects

• Review of solutions that have been designed without Enterprise Architect - involvement at certain milestones of a project
• Focus on the critical functional/technical areas
• Follow up on execution/adherence of proposed solution on a regular basis
• Mitigate future risks by addressing them early on
• Utilize the trusted advisor position to influence the client
• Assessment of escalation situation
• Project escalation management/ leading proper resolutions in escalation situations

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $159,255 - $271,000. e exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
