Next Generation, Inc., an HR-Path company, is seeking a Payroll specialist with SAP ECP experience to join our team either fully remotely, or hybrid in the Atlanta area.

This role processes payroll for multiple clients using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Payroll Control Center (PCC), requiring meticulous attention to detail, excellent client service, and the ability to manage several payroll cycles concurrently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience.
• Experience using SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Experience with multi-client payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and deductions.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple clients using SAP ECP.
• Execute regular, off-cycle, bonus, and adjustment payrolls.
• Use PCC to monitor payroll execution and resolve issues.
• Validate payroll results and perform reconciliation.
• Handle data changes including hires, terminations, garnishments, tax updates.
• Coordinate payroll calendars and ensure timely delivery.
• Support year-end activities including W-2 processing.
• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations.
• Collaborate with HR Path consultants and client stakeholders.
• Document processes and support improvements.
• Assist with testing and configuration updates.

Next Generation, Inc., an HR-Path company, is seeking a Payroll specialist with experience in SAP ECP to join our team either fully remotely, or hybrid in the Atlanta area. HR-Path is a global leader in HR consulting, technology implementation, and managed services. Our Managed Payroll Services (MPS) team provides ongoing payroll operations and support for multiple clients utilizing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). We help organizations process payroll accurately, maintain compliance, and continuously improve their payroll operations.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for processing payrolls for multiple clients utilizing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Payroll Control Center (PCC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll processing experience within SAP ECP environments, strong attention to detail, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple payroll cycles simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple clients using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
• Execute payroll cycles including regular, off‑cycle, bonus, and adjustment payrolls
• Utilize Payroll Control Center (PCC) to monitor payroll execution, analyze exceptions, and resolve payroll issues
• Validate payroll results and perform payroll reconciliation activities
• Review and resolve payroll exceptions, errors, retroactive calculations, and employee inquiries
• Process employee data changes including hires, terminations, compensation updates, garnishments, tax changes, and direct deposit modifications
• Coordinate payroll calendars and ensure timely payroll delivery for assigned clients
• Support year‑end payroll activities including W-2 processing and payroll audits
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Work closely with HR Path payroll consultants, payroll managers, and client stakeholders
• Document payroll processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with testing and validation of payroll configuration changes and system updates

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• 2+ years of hands‑on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience
• Experience using SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC)
• Experience processing payroll for medium to large employee populations
• Strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, payroll taxes, garnishments, and employee deductions
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and payroll schedules simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting payroll operations in a managed services, outsourcing, or consulting environment
• Experience with SAP Employee Central (EC)
• Multi-state payroll processing experience
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification
• Experience supporting payroll implementations, upgrades, or payroll transformation projects
• Knowledge of payroll interfaces, data imports, and payroll reporting tools
