HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an experienced SAP EAM Business Analyst – Supplier Quality to support the Supplier Quality organization by maintaining SAP equipment master data, equipment structures, and bill of materials (BOM) integrity throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
In this role, you'll support Supplier Quality by maintaining SAP equipment data, troubleshooting master data and BOM issues, and partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and SAP Business Applications teams to ensure accurate equipment configurations and traceability throughout production.
The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP EAM experience in a manufacturing environment and excels at troubleshooting master data issues, supporting equipment lifecycle activities, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to keep production running smoothly.
As An SAP EAM Business Analyst – Supplier Quality, You'll
- Maintain SAP Equipment Masters, Functional Locations, Material Masters, BOMs, equipment hierarchies, and serial number master data.
- Support equipment lifecycle activities by creating, updating, installing, dismantling, and tracking equipment while maintaining complete traceability.
- Execute BOM validation activities, including BOM comparisons, and resolve part, quantity, and configuration discrepancies.
- Analyze equipment structures, production orders, material consumption, and serial number history to troubleshoot manufacturing and supplier quality issues.
- Support supplier equipment onboarding by validating upload files, executing data imports, and resolving interface and master data issues.
- Investigate and resolve SAP master data, equipment hierarchy, serial number, and material master discrepancies affecting production.
- Partner with supplier quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, MES, and SAP Business Applications teams to resolve production-impacting issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve Supplier Quality and SAP EAM processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and user documentation.
- Provide day-to-day SAP functional support, user guidance, and root cause analysis for Supplier Quality operations.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/PM) and Equipment Master Data
- Working knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM) and Material Master processes
- Experience supporting equipment lifecycle activities, including installation, dismantling, and equipment hierarchy management
- Experience validating BOMs and troubleshooting equipment, material, and serial number master data
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Experience supporting supplier quality or manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor operations
- Experience with configuration management, BOM validation, and serial number traceability
- Experience in automotive, robotics, aerospace, or other high-volume manufacturing environments
