Title: SP - SAP Logistics Analyst
Location: Hayward, CA
Onsite (Mon-Fri, 30 + hours)
Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months, with likely extension
Pay Rate: $67.15 per hour (w2)
Position Overview
We are supporting an on demand autonomous ride hailing company in hiring an SAP Logistics Analyst to maintain and optimize material planning and logistics master data that supports fleet operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of SAP master data, inventory planning parameters, and material configurations to support inventory availability, replenishment, and fleet readiness. The successful candidate will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and SAP technical teams to improve data quality, resolve system issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain material planning and logistics master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across SAP systems.
- Manage material master records, part extensions, and planning data across multiple locations.
- Configure and maintain material planning parameters, including safety stock levels, replenishment settings, and inventory controls.
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and SAP teams to ensure materials are properly configured, including plant extensions, costing, and planning attributes.
- Monitor master data quality and resolve issues affecting inventory transfers, stock transport orders, replenishment, and material availability.
- Investigate SAP data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve planning and inventory accuracy.
- Track large scale material and part extension activities while coordinating completion across multiple stakeholders.
- Develop reports and analyze data to identify trends, improve planning processes, and support operational decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance SAP master data quality, planning processes, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, inventory management, logistics, master data, or ERP systems.
- Experience maintaining material master data, part setup, plant extensions, inventory planning, or MRP data within SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze large datasets and generate reports.
- Experience performing data analysis, root cause investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP Material Master, MRP, Inventory Management, or Logistics modules.
- Experience supporting service operations, fleet operations, or automotive supply chain environments.
- Experience establishing safety stock levels, replenishment parameters, and inventory planning strategies.
