Job summary

The TECMA Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk with advanced SAP experience to ensure accurate order processing, inventory control, and on-time shipments.

You will load, pack, label, and ship orders, verify documents, and maintain warehouse inventory while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Experience with FedEx/UPS/DHL systems and the ability to work overtime when needed are valued assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (minimum 2 years in a warehouse/logistics environment).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).
• Verify the accuracy of shipment orders and related documentation.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of SAP to execute shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the shipping team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards.
• Assist with inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate placement and tracking of inventory within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete necessary shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report any damages, shortages, or other discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
