Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse subsidiary, is seeking a Material Handler – Shipping/Receiving in the United States. You will verify shipments, prepare items for dispatch, maintain logs in SAP/Excel, and coordinate domestic and international shipments.

The role requires forklift operation and the ability to lift 50 lbs+, with strong administrative and computer skills. Join a safety‑driven team supporting on‑time delivery and packaging compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience packaging and shipping a variety of product.
• Operate forklift in addition to hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• High School degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment.
• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items against records.
• Maintain logs and data entry into SAP or Excel.
• Package material according to orders and special requirements.
• Coordinate hazardous shipping with Global Logistics and EHS.
• Determine method of shipment and coordinate international shipping.
• Assist delivery drivers with loading/unloading.
• Monitor inventory and order crates or packaging.
