Job summary

Tecan is seeking a Data Manager / Junior Planner at our Baldwin Park, CA site to maintain SAP master data and support production planning, ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly.

You will validate data, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help implement process improvements across SAP modules and related systems. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, with a strong focus on data quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Operations, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP ERP.
• Minimum 2 years with SAP modules and master data management.
• Financial valuation knowledge is a plus, especially in M1–M10 product realization.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and validate SAP master data (material/equipment masters, functional locations, recipes, BOMs, business partners).
• Ensure data accuracy and adherence to procedures before activation.
• Maintain SAP data across manufacturing, finance, quality, purchasing, inventory, and SCM.
• Create/maintain product line schedules and material requests to support production.
• Monitor MRP signals and safety stock to ensure material availability.
• Investigate data errors, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Support SAP enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs.
