Job summary

Tecan in Baldwin Park, CA is seeking a Data Manager / Junior Planner to maintain SAP master data and support production planning to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The role focuses on accuracy, data governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP-driven processes.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of SAP ERP experience, with knowledge of SAP modules and master data management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, IT or related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience with SAP ERP systems.
Experience with SAP modules and master data management is required.
Understanding of financial valuation in product realization is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and validate SAP master data including material, equipment, functional locations, BOMs and business partners.
Support production planning and monitor MRP signals to maintain material availability.
Investigate data issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP data supports operations.
Assist with SAP system enhancements and process improvements.
