Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking an SAP consultant to implement and provide ongoing support for SAP systems. The role includes gathering business requirements, defining configuration and master data, and coordinating changes with SAP functional leads.

You will oversee design, testing, and documentation, train end-users, and provide second-level SAP guidance within a cross-functional team environment. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills and experience with SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience, including hands on configuration.
• Experience with SAP Basis and system administration.
• Experience with Windows OS, Oracle DB and SAP hosting management.
• Experience with SAP user maintenance, roles and profiles, SOX and audit documentation.
• Experience with requirements gathering and process design.
• Experience with interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, BDC, LSMW, and call transaction update methods.
• Familiarity with ABAP programming language.
• Ability to search and apply OSS notes.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation and ongoing support of SAP system, including requirements, design, configuration, documentation and testing.
• Coordinate with SAP functional leads on cross-functional impact and project plans.
• Manage system configuration, master data, and custom code guided by SAP best practices.
• Train end-users and provide second-level SAP support for end-user questions.
• Oversee testing and fixes, work with external SAP support groups as needed.
• Lead cross-functional project activities and prioritize business-critical initiatives.
• Integrate various point solutions with SAP and set up interfaces.
