Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice is hiring a transformation-focused SAP technologist to lead development of S/4HANA and BTP solutions, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, and Fiori. You will guide transitions to Clean Core, supervise architecture and code reviews, and mentor global teams across geographies.

You will apply Generative AI Hub and Joule Studio to enhance development and lead technical workshops, with travel up to 100% as needed by engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Prior experience supporting the Industrial industry/clients
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
• Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
