Job summary

Accenture is seeking a transformation leader to drive SAP development and extensibility on S/4HANA and BTP from Illinois. You will guide the transition to Clean Core, oversee architectural design, and lead global delivery teams across geographies with a focus on ABAP Cloud and Generative AI integration.

The role requires deep expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA, BTP, and modern dev practices, with travel up to 0–100% as needed to meet client needs.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
Minimum of 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Business AI where applicable.
Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
