Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior SAP development leader to design and deliver ABAP Cloud and S/4HANA extensions on BTP, leveraging RAP, CAP, and Fiori within Clean Core. You will guide global delivery teams and drive API adoption while mentoring others.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP development, 3+ years with BTP, and strong leadership and consulting experience. Travel 0–100% may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of SAP development using S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud.
Minimum 3 years with SAP BTP tools and services (latest stack).
Minimum 3 years data modeling with CDS views, AMDP, OData.
Minimum 3 years SAP development with Fiori-first, Clean Core, BTP side-by-side incl. RAP.
Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, workshops).
Experience in CMT industry/clients and Consulting/Advisory roles.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 12 years' work exp, or 6 years with Associate's degree.

Responsibilities

Lead design, build, and test of SAP custom development on S/4HANA and BTP using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori and Clean Core.
Drive transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and API adoption.
Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse SAP Business AI where applicable.
Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate across geographies and technical levels. Travel may be required (0–100%).
