ABB is seeking an experienced SAP Business Process Owner to lead the Order-to-Cash function. You will own process development, implementation, and optimization across critical SAP modules, collaborating with stakeholders and SAP developers to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, 10+ years SAP experience, and proven ability to drive continuous improvement. The position offers a hybrid work model (on-site + remote) in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years as SAP business analyst or business process owner.
• Strong communication with stakeholders; proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Order to Cash processes across SAP ERP modules (SD, CS, MM, EWM) and business apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and SAP developers to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Drive process improvements in subscription and contract management using SAP, SFDC, and e-commerce tools.
• Provide end-user support for Order to Cash, including warranty, field service, demand planning, and manufacturing.
• Provide technical expertise and work with team members to resolve business problems or improvements.
• Escalate issues and coordinate with SAP regional CoE and global support to resolve problems/bugs.
• Identify strategies to prevent service disruption and assist with SAP upgrades and testing.
• Document current and future state business processes and develop training materials.

This position reports to

Senior Manager, Business Operations

Own the Order-to-Cash function end-to-end. As a SAP Business Process Owner, you'll have full ownership of process development, implementation, and optimization across critical SAP modules. Working collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams, you'll drive continuous improvement and establish yourself as the go-to expert for enterprise system solutions.

The work model for this role is: hybrid on site & working from home.

Your role and responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the Order to Cash processes of local SAP ERP modules (SD, CS, MM, EWM) and business applications


• Work with internal customers to gather business and system requirements, analyze, and collaborate with SAP developers to implement new solutions


• Drive improvement of subscription and contract management processes in SAP, SFDC and e-commerce tools


• Provide support for end users in Order to Cash, including but not limited to, warranty, field service, demand planning, repair workshop planning, manufacturing, and sales & distribution


• Provide technical expertise and work closely with team members to provide solutions to business problems or process improvement projects


• Escalate the issues and work with SAP regional center of excellence and global Support and outside consultants to resolve application problems/bugs.


• Identify strategies and implemented processes to prevent service disruption.


• Assist with SAP upgrade in testing and validation of the application and training end users Document business process workflow for current and future state and develop training manuals.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field


• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP business analyst or business process owner


• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions


• Proficient in SAP modules: SD, MM, CS and Contract Management


• Knowledge or experience in SFDC application


• Must have strong analytical skills with an understanding of business processes specifically in the are-as of end to end - Order to cash and contract management


• Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently with conflicting priority. Interact effectively with individuals in all levels of organization.


• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and work well in a cross-functional team environment.


• Proficient in English
