Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) Consultant to support our Kuwait-based client remotely. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in SAP BO, including report development, dashboard creation, and data visualization. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP BO solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

• Develop, design, and maintain reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Lumira, etc.).
• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into BO reports.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAP BO reports and dashboards.
• Manage Universe Design (IDT/UDT) and maintain semantic layers.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes as required.
• Integrate SAP BO with various data sources such as SAP BW, HANA, and other databases.
• Ensure report performance optimization and efficient data retrieval.
• Conduct unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide end-user training.
• Support report scheduling and administration within the SAP BO Central Management Console (CMC) .
• Work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of reports and dashboards.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in SAP BO tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Lumira, Design Studio).
• Experience in Universe Design (IDT & UDT) and creating complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SQL databases .
• Proficiency in SAP BO Security, CMC Administration, and BI Launchpad .
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting SAP BO reports .
