Job summary

Wipro Infrastructure Engineering is seeking an SAP Master Data Specialist to create and maintain BOMs and routings, while coordinating with engineering and procurement teams in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires hands-on experience with SAP BOMs, material masters, and related transactions, along with strong Excel and communication skills for status reporting and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree required in computing or related field.
• Practical experience with BOM, routing or master-data in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of SAP BOM, routing, material master, and procurement transactions.
• Proficiency in Excel, email communication, and status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SAP BOMs and production routings.
• Implement changes to components, quantities, and validity with traceability.
• Maintain material and manufacturing master data.
• Identify and document SAP posting/transaction issues with BO/SAP support.
• Update cycle times, operation details, and batch quantities after validation.
• Support PR and PO activities and monitor status.
• Coordinate PFMEA, PFD and Control Plan documentation.
• Prepare daily BOM status reports with risks and next actions.
• Ensure timely closure of changes and updated master data.
