Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking a BOM Specialist with strong SAP PM/MM experience to develop equipment BOMs and validate material data for CMMS/SAP loading. The role involves reviewing manuals, drawings, and catalogs, and ensuring accuracy of parts, quantities, and equipment links.

Candidates should have an engineering background with 5+ years in SAP PM/MM and advanced Excel skills. Oil & gas or heavy industrial experience is preferred; S/4HANA data migration knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP PM/MM, equipment BOMs, spare parts, or material master data.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and technical documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience in oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA and data migration experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment BOMs and link equipment with the correct materials and spare parts.
• Review OEM manuals, P&IDs, engineering drawings, datasheets, and parts catalogs.
• Identify missing, duplicate, obsolete, or incorrect material records.
• Validate material descriptions, part numbers, quantities, and equipment compatibility.
• Prepare and validate BOM data for CMMS/SAP loading.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, and Procurement teams.
