Job summary

Sense is seeking a BOM and data-operations expert to support industrial assets. You will develop equipment BOMs, link them to materials, and validate data from P&IDs, OEM manuals, and vendor documents.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP PM/MM, BOM work, and advanced Excel capabilities, with strong collaboration across Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate data and efficient handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Maintenance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of SAP PM/MM, equipment BOM, spare-parts, material master, or maintenance data experience.
• Hands-on experience developing equipment BOMs and equipment-to-material linkages for industrial assets.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, OEM manuals, equipment drawings, parts catalogs, datasheets, and vendor documents.
• Experience analyzing CMMS BOM structures and identifying gaps, duplicates, obsolete records, and incorrect linkages.
• Advanced Excel skills for large-data manipulation, matching, reconciliation, and exception reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment BOMs and establish equipment-to-material relationships using diverse inputs.
• Analyze P&IDs, drawings, datasheets, and vendor documents for accuracy.
• Identify maintainable components, spare parts, and material master data.
• Validate descriptions, references, and substitutions; assess duplicate-risk.
• Prepare templates, cross-reference logs, and control reports for data loads.
• Perform BOM completeness checks and maintain referential integrity.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, and clients.
• Support BOMs within Asset Hierarchy and maintenance strategies.
• Assist pre-load review, post-load verification, defect correction, and handover.
