Our Objective

We aim to provide clients with unique insights on leveraging SAP technology to enhance operations, rooted in EY’s SAP service capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors) to improve performance and productivity.

The Opportunity

We innovate with SAP to co-create solutions, drawing on our integrated expertise across tax, assurance, transactions, and risk, as well as SAP implementation experience. We assist clients from strategy to execution for better outcomes and lasting results.

Role: Application Systems Engineering Manager

You will define user and customer requirements, focusing on UI development across platforms, and engineer software components ensuring seamless system communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects, emphasizing quality, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Research and benchmark best practices, manage professionals, and oversee performance.
• Ensure billability, lead workstreams, manage project status, and oversee deliverables.
• Travel as needed, participate in client sessions, lead planning and execution, identify new service opportunities, and manage engagement economics.

Skills and Attributes

Combine technical expertise with business acumen, problem-solving, and team leadership. Skills include:

• Deep technical capabilities and strong business understanding.
• Experience leading SAP projects and workstreams.
• Excellent communication, client service, and technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices, industry environments, and advisory experience.
• Research skills, adaptability, and willingness to travel (up to 80%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years).
• 4-6 years relevant SAP experience.
• Proven project management and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific finance and technology practices.
• Research and problem-solving ability regarding regulations and emerging issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting industry experience.
• SAP Certifications.
• Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations.
