Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an SAP ABAP Manager to lead delivery of ABAP-based solutions for SAP S/4HANA and ECC. You will guide design, build, test and deployment, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.

You’ll manage delivery quality, mentor engineers, and drive agile practices in a travel-heavy role with 40-60% travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• 4–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development and programming experience.
• Strong ABAP expertise including OO ABAP and debugging.
• Experience designing ABAP-based reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• SAP S/4HANA and ECC experience including module integration.
• Fiori/UI5 development and ABAP back-end service integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience in Agile delivery and DevOps practices in SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP tech like Solution Manager, PI/PO, Data Services.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP delivery across full project lifecycles (design, build, test, deploy).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide direction to team members and manage risk and quality.
• Engage with external clients, lead sessions, and drive workstreams.
• Travel as needed (40-60%) to meet client demands.
