Job summary

WorkGenius Group seeks a SAP ABAP & BTP Full Stack Developer for a ~6 month engagement in Foster City, CA. You will assist with SAP RAP, UI5/Fiori, OData, and cloud connectivity under senior guidance.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IT degree and 0–2 years of experience, solid Python scripting, and foundational ABAP knowledge, with a willingness to learn SAP BTP and security models in a hybrid Bay Area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering field.
• 0–2 years of experience or recent graduates.
• Proficient in Python with scripting and OOP basics.
• Foundational ABAP knowledge or SAP coursework/internships.
• Familiar with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST, and OData; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and testing OData services using ABAP RAP under senior guidance.
• Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in SAP Business Application Studio, including Smart Controls and Fiori Elements extensions.
• Support App Router configuration, XSUAA authentication setup, and Cloud Connector connectivity while learning security models.
• Participate in functional walkthroughs and integration activities across EAM, MM, EWM, PP, and QM environments.
• Develop Python scripts and utilities for integration testing, data processing, and automation; complete structured training in SAP BTP, RAP, and UI5 fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and testing OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) under senior developer guidance.
• Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in SAP Business Application Studio, including Smart Controls, standard UI annotations, Fiori Elements extensions, and basic controller logic.
• Support App Router configuration, XSUAA authentication setup, and Cloud Connector connectivity while developing expertise in relevant security models.
• Participate in functional walkthroughs and integration activities across EAM, MM, EWM, PP, and QM environments.
• Develop Python scripts and utilities for integration testing, data processing, and automation; complete structured training in SAP BTP, RAP, and UI5 fundamentals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field; suitable for recent graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
• Working proficiency in Python, including core language features, scripting, and basic object-oriented programming.
• Foundational knowledge of ABAP, object-oriented programming, or SAP through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
