Responsibilities

• Assist in building and testing OData services using RAP under guidance.
• Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori app development in BAS.
• Participate in architecture discussions on App Router configurations.
• Support XSUAA authentication setup and Cloud Connector connectivity.
• Participate in functional walkthroughs across EAM, MM/EWM, PP/QM.
• Assist with Fiori Elements extensions, basic controller logic, CDS views.
• Write Python scripts to support testing, data processing, automation.
• Complete structured SAP training during onboarding focusing on BTP, RAP, UI5.

Are you an early-career developer looking to build your expertise in SAP technologies? We're seeking a motivated entry-level SAP Developer to join a collaborative team and develop foundational skills across ABAP, SAP BTP, RAP, and UI5/Fiori. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior developer with strong Python skills and some exposure to SAP or ABAP who is eager to learn from experienced architects and grow within an enterprise application development environment.

As a member of the Business Applications team, you will support the development, testing, and enhancement of SAP applications that help enable critical business processes across areas including asset management, inventory, production planning, quality, and supply chain operations. You'll work within a structured mentorship environment while gaining hands-on exposure to modern SAP development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and testing OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) under the guidance of senior developers and architects.
• Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori application development within SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), beginning with Smart Controls and standard UI annotations.
• Participate in architecture discussions related to Managed and Standalone App Router configurations, gradually taking on configuration responsibilities.
• Support XSUAA authentication setup and Cloud Connector connectivity activities with guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in functional walkthroughs across EAM, including Work Orders and Asset Lifecycle; MM/EWM, including inventory and part replacement; and PP/QM, including production planning and quality processes.
• Assist with Fiori Elements extensions, basic controller logic, and CDS view development.
• Write Python scripts and utilities to support integration testing, data processing, and automation within the SAP environment.
• Complete structured SAP training and certifications during onboarding, with a focus on BTP, RAP, and UI5 fundamentals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Working proficiency in Python, including core programming concepts, scripting, and basic object-oriented programming.
• Foundational knowledge of ABAP, object-oriented programming concepts, and/or exposure to SAP through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability and willingness to learn quickly in a structured mentorship environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and functional teams.
• Basic understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, or OData concepts is a plus.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Academic or project-based exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, UI5, or cloud application development.
• SAP certifications completed through college or other academic training.
• Familiarity with Python libraries or frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI, Flask, or PyTest.
• Exposure to AI agent development or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or MCP-based agent tooling through coursework, hackathons, or personal projects.
