Horizontal Talent is hiring an entry-level SAP developer to join a collaborative team focusing on ABAP, SAP BTP, and UI5/Fiori technologies. You will grow through hands-on mentorship, structured training, and cross-functional learning while contributing to OData services and UI5 applications.

You will build skills in RAP, BTP, and onboarding programs, with mentorship guiding your growth in SAP ecosystems and cloud connectivity tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience or recent graduates with relevant academic or internship experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and scripting.
• Foundational understanding of ABAP and SAP concepts.
• Basic familiarity with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and REST/OData concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, and testing of OData services using RAP under guidance.

• Support the design, build, and testing of OData services using the RAP framework with guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in SAP Business Application Studio, including Smart Controls and standard annotations.
• Assist with basic controller logic, Fiori Elements enhancements, and CDS view development.
• Learn and help with App Router configuration, authentication setup, and cloud connectivity tasks under supervision.
• Participate in functional discussions across asset management, inventory, production planning, quality, and related business processes to strengthen domain knowledge.
• Develop Python scripts and utilities to support testing, data handling, and automation efforts.
• Take part in structured SAP onboarding and training to build skills in BTP, RAP, and UI5 fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Completion of SAP‑related certifications during academic studies, if available.
• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI, Flask, or PyTest.
• Familiarity with AI agent concepts or tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or MCP‑based frameworks.
• Interest in building practical solutions through automation, integration, and continuous learning.
