Job summary

JBS USA in Lenoir seeks quality, motivated people to join the sanitation team as general laborers. The position cleans and sanitizes production lines each night, including machinery and floors, and sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment.

This role works in a cold, damp environment, lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and staying aware of hazards. Benefits include paid vacation/holidays, health plans, a 401(k), and onsite cafeteria.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Must be able to work in a very cold, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Perform other duties as needed or as assigned
