Job summary

Staffmark in Stanton, CA is hiring a Sanitation Worker for the 2nd shift (1:30pm–10pm) at $18.00 per hour. You will help keep production areas clean, sanitize equipment, and support manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

No prior sanitation experience is required; training is provided. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with opportunities for advancement and growth within a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, work areas, warehouse spaces, and common areas.

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble equipment after production runs.
• Follow daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning schedules.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitizers while following safety procedures.
• Complete sanitation logs and cleaning documentation.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, food safety, and company procedures.

• Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is production-ready
• Remove waste, recyclables, and debris from production areas
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to supervisors
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, food safety, and company procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sanitation Worker.

Physical Capabilities

• Steel-toed shoes are required on production floor
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
