Job summary

The Sanitization Technician I at Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is based in Hendersonville, NC and reports to the Sanitation Supervisor.

You will perform all sanitation operations, ensure food safety and quality procedures, and follow OSHA, FDA, EPA, SQF and GMP standards to maintain a safe, productive work environment. Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
• Ability to Read and Write.
• Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule).
• Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines.
• Support Production CIP's
• Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements
• Work with chemicals to complete cleaning
• Operate PIT equipment
• Operate Cleaning equipment
• Taste test products as needed.
