Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Technician I for the Hendersonville, NC facility on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM). The role focuses on sanitation, food safety, GMP, and SQF compliance within a production setting.

The starting hourly rate is $22 per hour, with a $0.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Candidates must meet PPE and forklift certification requirements and be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
• Ability to Read and Write.
• Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks per schedule.
• Adheres to sanitation safety and food safety guidelines.
• Supports Production CIP improvements and documentation.
• Completes all associated documents per facility requirements.
• Handles cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Operates PIT equipment.
• Operates cleaning equipment.
• May taste test products in small portions as needed.
