Michael Foods, Inc. is looking for a team member to perform daily sanitation in the ESL/SSL department and assist with packaging as needed. The role emphasizes GMP compliance, safe work practices, and accurate HACCP documentation within a food processing facility in Britt, Iowa.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience operating machinery. Strong reading skills, basic math, and independent work ability are essential for success.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience operating machinery and handling GMPs and product specifications.
• Ability to read SOPs and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills including handling money, weight, volume and distance.
• Ability to work independently and communicate well with others.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for a safe and healthy workplace; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; maintain sanitary conditions and product quality.
• Set up, run, clean and perform preventive maintenance on fillers and related equipment.
• Learn and follow SOPs for production and sanitation, including cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Fill out HACCP paperwork and communicate any maintenance needs.
• Maintain documentation in real time and adhere to safety requirements.
• Assist with packaging if needed and support changeover activities for fillers and date coding.
