Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience operating machinery and handling GMPs and product specifications.
• SPC (weight control).
• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to read SOPs.
• Basic computer skills to operate equipment controls.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using units of money and weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of the ESL/SSL department following sanitation procedures.
• Assist with packaging of product when needed after sanitation.
• Maintain safe and healthy workplace and adhere to safety policies.
• Follow GMPs and ensure sanitary conditions and product quality.
• Set up, run, clean, and maintain equipment; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Complete HACCP paperwork and communicate maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Maintain documentation in real time.
• Lead changeover activities for fillers and date coding as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and safety.
