Western Smokehouse Partners in Galesburg, IL is seeking a Sanitation Team Member to clean and sanitize equipment, rooms, and surfaces, preparing areas for the next shift while maintaining strict GMP and OSHA standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year in manufacturing or sanitation, and familiarity with cleaning protocols and data entry. The job offers benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and EAP.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing or sanitation, preferably food-related.
• Familiarity with sanitation equipment, cleaning protocols, and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of GMP and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to follow SOPs and cleaning checklists.
• Basic data entry and equipment scanning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and sanitize equipment, rooms, and surfaces.
• Prepare Processing, Packaging, Retail, Meat, Cooler, and Cut Rooms for the next shift.
• Clean floors and remove debris and product waste.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for sanitation and setup.
• Load smokehouses with raw products and run programs per batch specs.
• Complete post-operation check sheets and document sanitation activities.
• Enforce lockdown procedures for the facility.
• Unload trailers, verify BOL, record temperatures, and scan products into Vista Trac.
• Store incoming pallets in coolers or racking areas.
• Follow all SOPs, GMPs, and FDA regulations related to sanitation and food safety.
• Report safety concerns to supervision.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Support other departments and fill in for other sanitation roles when needed.
