Job summary

THE JAMES SKINNER LLC in Omaha, NE is seeking a Sanitor to perform sanitation duties across wash bays, production, and facility areas. The role reports to the sanitation manager and supervisor, ensuring a clean, safe food environment and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities include following GMPs and SSOPs, maintaining clean work areas, assisting with line changeovers and allergen cleans, and completing paperwork accurately while using sanitation equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all regulations, policies, work procedures, GMPs, and instructions; use safety equipment.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Follow all SSOPs and MSSs cleaning procedures.
• Perform washroom tasks to support production needs.
• Conduct production and facility sanitation and housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with line changeovers and allergen cleans.
• Lock out/Tag out of Production equipment for sanitation activities.
• Accurately fill out paperwork and documentation.
• Operate sanitation equipment, power washers, foamers, etc.; use chemicals properly.
• Complete multiple tasks within allotted time.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
