Job summary

Essentia is seeking a Sanitation Technician to uphold the highest cleanliness standards in our facility. You will execute sanitation schedules, sanitize floors, drains, walls, and shelves, and ensure compliance with SSOPs and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred experience in food/feed manufacturing sanitation. You will work in a team, manage chemical concentrations, and help maintain a safe, clean environment daily.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Food/Feed manufacturing sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sanitation schedule: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual and Annual.
• Sanitize floors, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Maintain a clean facility, inside and out using the 7 steps of sanitation.
• Perform record keeping for the sanitation schedule.
• Label and transfer chemicals safely.
• Occasionally cleans offices, breakroom, conference room and restrooms.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
• Continuously improve the sanitation process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
