Description

We are currently looking for a Sanitation Technician to join our team! $2,000 Sign on BONUS!


Shift Hours: 5:50AM-6:00PM on a Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule


Pay rate: $21.00


The Sanitation Technician you are responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment necessary for the production of safe and legal products. This includes organizing, maintaining, and operating a sanitary process environment to optimize production and minimize food safety risks, and managing pest population to minimize potential for product adulteration and/or contamination.


A Taste of the Job:



  • Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines are adhered to.

  • Washing all plant equipment as required.

  • Knowing with safety equipment is needed to perform a specific job task and what chemicals are used to clean with

  • Following all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program* Knowing where the MSDS is located and how to read them.

  • Maintaining a sanitary work environment inside and out.

  • Communicating with other departments to prioritize the sanitation schedule.

  • Collecting cardboard, trash, plastic, and wastewater.

  • Working in a team environment to decrease production downtime.

  • Maintaining a safe work environment for the team and notifying the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager of any equipment or personnel safety issues. Ensuring that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.

  • Maintaining an accurate and detailed operator's log.


Path for Success:



  • High school diploma or GED

  • The ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written.

  • Basic math and computer skills desirable

  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
