Job description

Quality Technician - Rotational Night Shift

A company in the Sussex, WI area is looking to add on a Quality Technician to their rotational night shifts! This is a DIRECT HIRE role on a 2-2-3 rotation. The ideal candidate will have quality control experience in a FDA regulated facility and knowledge of GMP's.

  • 5:45pm - 6:00am
  • 2-2-3 rotation
  • Pay up to $22.00/hr
  • Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for recording test results, taking appropriate actions when production and/or quality issues arise, and maintaining an accurate log of daily activities
  • Checking batch sheets to ensure that the correct formulation and material is used for the company production requirements
  • Conducting bar line, processing and packaging CPC checks, as well as sanitation checks
  • Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are carried out by all employees
  • Holding all raw materials and finished products that fail to meet the established standards and finalize disposition on held items
  • Performing all quality control tests in accordance with the established standards and systems to ensure that the finished products fall within the company requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records and files of all quality control tests and tasks
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • 6-12 months experience in a quality control in a food processing environment is preferred
