Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities to meet USDA and company standards. You’ll apply chemicals, follow detailed SOPs, and maintain a safe, organized environment in a fast-paced plant setting.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED; poultry or food-industry experience is a plus. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with possible overtime and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing background is a plus.
• Skills: ability to multitask, follow procedures, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas per USDA and company standards.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety rules.
• Inspect areas after sanitation and report issues promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and manage tools/chemicals properly.
• Collaborate with teammates to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
