Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to clean and sanitize production equipment, areas, and facilities across our poultry processing operations. You’ll follow detailed sanitation procedures to meet USDA and company standards, using PPE and safe handling of chemicals.

A strong safety focus and reliability are essential in this fast-paced role. We value teamwork and attention to detail as you help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment; good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals with PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect areas after sanitation and report issues or hazards.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment; store tools and chemicals properly.
• Collaborate with team to complete sanitation tasks and meet goals.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed for production readiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
