Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Lead for the 3rd shift at the San Diego plant. You will supervise sanitation staff, ensure GMP/SOP compliance, and coordinate chemical handling and safety training in a USDA-regulated facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years production experience in a USDA food facility.
• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation employees follow GMPs and SOPs.
• Maintain chemical inventory and usage logs and titration records.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning and ensure proper assembly of equipment and lines.
• Provide training on chemical safety, SSOPs and JSA procedures.
• Oversee sanitation activities to optimize cleaning effectiveness and cost.
