Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an Hourly Sanitation Support for our Greeley, CO Value Added Plant. The role starts at $23.50 per hour and offers benefits including paid vacation, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k).

You will perform sanitation tasks, follow GMP/SSOP requirements, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be authorized to work in the US, and be able to work full-time with weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work full-time M-F; weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Previous sanitation experience preferred.
• Physical tasks including bending, lifting up to 75 lbs., standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand-on sanitation activities: cleaning, scrubbing, sanitizing and organizing areas and equipment.
• Follow sanitation protocols to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and inspect work areas to improve sanitation efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and teamwork.
• Ensure safety compliance and report hazards to management.
• Maintain clean storage areas for sanitation supplies and chemicals.
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements and pace flow.
• Maintain labor standards and pace; may involve overnight work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand sanitation operations:
  • Perform hand-on sanitation activities, including cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing, and organizing work areas and equipment.
  • Follow established sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and inspect work areas to identify and address sanitation processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
• Safety and compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during sanitation processes.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
• Understand pace flow
• Maintain labor standards and pace
• Constant walking and or standing
• Use of hands to fingers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
• 18 years of age or more
• Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Previous experience in sanitation or related field if preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, lifting and standing for extended periods
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
