JBS is seeking an hourly Floor Janitor 2nd Shift Team Member! Position starts at $18 per hour with a $1 shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Perform other duties as needed or as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperatively with others
• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables

• Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays
