Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee all sanitation and janitorial duties at the facility. This leadership role ensures adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and food safety practices while supporting production needs.

You will organize sanitation documentation, coordinate with QA, HR, Production and Maintenance, and guide a sanitation team to meet scheduling and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing sanitation programs in food processing.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing; union environment preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility’s sanitation and janitorial programs; provide guidance and direction to personnel to ensure compliance.
• Schedules staff to satisfy production requirements; adjusts procedures to meet production schedules.
• Supports management of QA, HR, Production, and Maintenance by communicating on schedules and audits.
• Organizes and updates Standard Sanitizing Operating Procedures, Master Sanitation Program, and related documentation.
• Supports QA Manager with presentation material or data for vendors, customers, auditors, management and plant employees.
