Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for the Prepared Foods Division. The role involves directing the cleaning of plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety standards, and supervising sanitation staff to maintain a clean, safe, compliant operation.

You will develop procedures, ensure PPE and safety compliance, and collaborate with maintenance, R&D, and QA on sanitation matters to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; HACCP certification preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry required; sanitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation of equipment and facility on a day-to-day basis.
• Train, supervise, and direct sanitation workers; appraise performance.
• Develop and document cleaning procedures (SSOPs, logs).
• Ensure safety rules, PPE usage, and GMP compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance on equipment and with R&D/QA on sanitation issues.
